Selecting Same Occurrences of Text

(Nikita Ahuja) #1

Stoplight currently has a feature where when I highlight a string of text in an HTML box, it also highlights all other occurrences of that text. This being said, it does not select the text, it just highlights it. Is there currently a way to select all the text of the same occurrences in Stoplight?

For example, in the image below, I have selected and highlighted the first occurrence of <li>List Item. Each occurrence of that same text also gets highlighted in the rows below. However, Is there a way to select all occurrences of <li>List Item?

Thanks so much!

Could you please explain what you are trying to achieve by selecting all occurrences? Are you trying to delete all occurrences, find/replace, etc.?

I have never come across an editor that does occurrence highlighting by selecting all occurrences. I don’t understand how this would be a benefit.

Find and replace essentially.

I think hitting Ctrl+D (Cmd+D on Mac) repeatedly might do the trick.

Sure did! Thanks @wmhilton. :slightly_smiling_face:
