Images not in GIT repo

It appears uploaded images in Stoplight Next end up in an S3 bucket, rather than in the GIT repo, so can’t back-up/version/auto-generate/etc

To work around this, we’re pushing copies of our uploaded images to an images directory inside the git repo, and then doing the usual upload. Do you foresee any issue with this?

(Although it does mean we can’t track/revert our images, at least we have some history.)

There shouldn’t be a problem with that method. Another method I would recommend is keeping you images in any git repo or hosting them however you like. Then reference them in your documentation. This way you can use whichever versioning you would like. This method can also apply to markdown files .
