Hide beta elements when publishing

idea

(Robert) #1

I have a new version coming out shortly, but I’d like to publish updates to the existing versions.

Is there some way to hide the beta content? I have one embedded page and one OpenAPI page.

Could you not add a link or reference the page, but it still exist?

It really depends on if it is a page or subpage and if the OAS page is a whole document or endpoints.

They are subpages.

There isn’t really a way to hide subpages right now. We can unlist pages and hide endpoints, but subpages is the one that is tricky.

Could you remove the OAS subpages you want to hide, then add them again later? The file itself would still be stored in Stoplight.

For the markdown based ones, could you save it as a markdown file on Stoplight and add later?

Sorry I don’t have a better solution.

I can do that, I was just looking to avoid it.

Consider this a feature request, I should be able to hide work in progress when publishing.

I will treat it as that and open something up internally. There might be some trick too. I’ll double check.
